3D Titanic to release on 100th anniversary of sinking London :-The Hollywood epic 'Titanic' which established new box office records, will be released in 3D to coincide with the 100th anniversary of its namesake ship's sinking.

The 1997 blockbuster, which took more than USD 1.2 billion at the box office and made international stars of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, will be released in 2012.
Its release is timed with the 100 year anniversary of the real-life disaster on 15th April, 1912 which claimed over 1,500 lives.

The James Cameron directed film is the second highest grossing of all time, having been eclipsed this year by 'Avatar'.

The conversion work is expected to cost up to USD 15 million and digital experts have already carried out tests on footage from the film to see what it looks like converted into the 3D format.

'Titanic' producer Jon Landau said they wanted to make sure they got the process right. "It's a time-consuming process, and we want to do it right. There were eight or nine companies used on the test, so we could compare. So far, there's only a group that went to the head of the class," he said.

The decision to re-release a 3D version of Titanic follows the announcement last week that the six 'Star Wars' films are to be released in the format in 2012.

In an interview to Gaurdian magazine, Akshay said: 'I presume they must be seeing what is happening in India. They see what Bollywood was two or three years ago and then they see what it is today. It has grown a lot and it has the capacity and capability to grow much more. If this collaboration works, then things will start moving towards Hollywood and Bollywood coming together again and again.'

In 'Kambakht Ishq', Denise played the role of a girl in love with Akshay, who played a stuntman in the film. Talking about her experience, Denise had said: ' 'Kambakht Ishq' was my first Bollywood film and I didn't know what to expect from it. But I felt very comfortable. Bollywood is a very catchy phrase; it sounds cool. All of you welcomed me and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you. You all are very helpful and very fun people and I love that.' PARTICIPANTS OF BIG BOSS SEASON 4

Salman to host Sania-Shoaib, Rahul-Dimpy in Bigg Boss-4?

title=
Actor Salman Khan, whoseDabangg (fearless) released on September 10, is set to be so on the small screen as he plays the custodian of the inmates of the house of Bigg Boss on the TV reality show's latest edition. But the biggest question now is who will be the inmates of the house in Bigg Boss-4.

The buzz has been that one of the favourite contestants in the second season of Bigg Boss-Rahuhl Mahajan-is returning as a participant. His wife Dimpy is likely to accompany him to the show to ensure that the controversies surrounding them as a couple make it more interesting.

Rahul can definitely teach Dimpy a few tricks on survival in that pool and outside it. It will be a kiss and tell season for them and the audience is expected to love it.

Even Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik are likely to make it to the house.

 Sara Khan
Sara Khan of Bidaai will be seen as one of the participants in reality show Bigg Boss 4. Apparently, Sara opted out of Bidaai after the show took a time leap.

Shaan
Singer Shaan is all excited to enter the Bigg bosshouse.

   Sangeeta Bijlani
Salman's ex-flame Sangeeta Bijlani will also be locked in Bigg Boss house.

Ahead of their marriage in April this year, Shoaib was dragged into a big controversy when his first wife in Hyderabad threatened to sue her. She, however, finally divorced Shoaib paving the way for his marriage with Sania, who too had earlier broken her engagement with her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza.

Actress Neetu Chandra, who hogged the limelight recently for her alleged role in spot-fixing in the arena of cricket, too is one of the hot favourites for the show. People would like to see her 'fixing abilities' inside the Bigg Boss's house. The organisers would probably like her to play the role like Kashmira Shah or Sherlyn Chopra in the previous seasons.

Actor Shiney Ahuja who was arrested on charges of raping his domestic help will also get to rebuild his image on the show. He got some respite recently after the 'victim' turned hostile in the court and retracted from her statement.

Talks of actresses Sneha Ullal and Zarine Khan, Balika Vadhu-fame Avika Gaur, another TV star Sarah Khan and Bhojpuri artist Manoj Tiwari as the other contestants are also doing rounds.

Pamela Anderson to be part of 'Bigg Boss 4'

Pamela
The fourth season ofBigg Boss seems all set to get bigger and better with one of the Hollywood's most famous figures ready to make an entry into the house.
If rumours are to be believed, blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson is ready to sizzle the Indian small screen with her appearance in the big house of controversies in the midst of cameras.
This former Playboy playmate might have stopped a million hearts in that sexy red costume and her provocative advertisements for PETA have had many turn over a new leaf, but she has now decided to focus on the Indian shores by being a part of Bigg Boss-4.
The former Baywatch babe might soon be joining the likes of Dimpy Ganguly and Manoj Tiwari in the Bigg Boss house. She has reportedly been offered to appear in the reality show based on the remarkably astounding fan following she enjoys among men in this nation.

A little birdie told Headlines Today that Pamela has asked for an astounding amount to remain isolated from rest of the world while being under 24x7 camera surveillance for almost 80 days.
International contestants have become a regular in the Bigg Boss house ever since Jade Goody entered the show in its second season and German model Claudia Ciesla in the third. Pamela is no stranger to controversy and having her in the Bigg Boss house would only mean the higher TRPs for the show.

'Rambo' promoting Kareena in Hollywood?

Hindi film audience may have givenKareena Kapoor a thumbs down for her size zero figure, with TASHAN failing at the ticket window, but it appears that Hollywood has loved it! The latest news doing the rounds is that Kareena Kapoor has signed a Hollywood film opposite Billy Zane (THE PHANTOM, TITANIC and CLEOPATRA etc.) to be directed by Daniel Silverman the film recorder of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and PERFECT STRANGERS.
As we all know Kareena's first brush with Hollywood started with her shooting for a few days along with living legend Sylvester 'Rambo' Stallone for Sajid Nadiadwala's KAMBAKKHT ISHQ, in which she stars opposite 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar. Grapevine has it that Sylvester was so impressed with Kareena that he has been promoting her in Hollywood. In fact there is a strong but unconfirmed buzz that Kareena has landed the above prestigious Hollywood project on Stallone's recommendation.
Tongues are wagging but that is how it goes! It is always difficult for a section of the media (who believe in sensationalism) to give the credit where it is due. And we are positive that Kareena has proved her merit time and time again, and recently with a bagful of awards for best actress in JAB WE MET, which is a testimony to the fact. Need we say more!

Katrina turns 'Pakeezah' in 'Tees Maar Khan'

After completing a raunchy number 'Sheela Ki Jawaani', Katrina Kaif is all set to go for a Meena Kumari style makeover for a special qawalli number in 'Tees Maar Khan'.
The actress, who plays a wannabe item girl in the Farah Khan directed movie, will be accompanied by Salman Khan and co-star Akshay Kumar in the song. Salman is making a special appearance in the song.
Katrina will be seen as grace personified a la Meena Kumari form 'Pakeezah', says the director.
"Katrina would be seen in an altogether different avtar in this 'qawalli'. While Akshay and Salman can be expected to have a lot of fun with this track, it belongs to Katrina as she would surprise the audience," Farah said.
"Katrina's look has been modeled on 'Pakeezah' though I don't wish to spoil the fun by disclosing more than that as of now," said Farah, adding that the 'qawalli' will have a quintessential Mumbaiyya feel to it with a 'masala mix' feel to it.
It is Farah's third film after 'Main Hoon Naa' and 'Om Shanti Om', both of which starred her best friend Shah Rukh Khan. Farah says the film will be complete after the song.
In fact quite some emphasis is being put on the way Katrina would make an entry in the song. With the first half of the song is dominated by Salman and Akshay, the young woman would arrive in the middle of the 'qawalli' and would join the boys in all the fun right till the end.
"Do you remember 'Yeh Ishq Ishq Hai Ishq Ishq', the 'qawalli' from 'Barsaat Ki Raat' which was created 50 years back? It still sounds so fresh. The 'qawalli' in 'Tees Maar Khan', though not exactly like that, is on the same lines," Farah said.
Asked whether Akshay was okay with the idea of introducing Salman Khan in the song, Farah said, "When I shared the idea with Akshay, he was game for it. He had a big smile on his face when I said that the song would feature the two of them along with Katrina."
Katrina has already impressed with her moves in songs like 'Zara Zara Touch Me' and 'Khwab Dekhe Jhoothe Moothe' (Race), 'Main Tera Dhadkan Teri' (Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani), 'Paisa Paisa' (De Dana Dan) and 'Teri Ore' (Singh Is Kinng).

Special honour to represent India at Oscars: Aamir Khan

New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS) Aamir Khan is on the top of the world these days. His film 'Peepli Live', a political satire on the issue of farmers' suicides, has been chosen as India's official entry at the Oscars, and the Bollywood star says it's a 'special honour' to represent the country.
'I'm really happy to hear that 'Peepli Live' has been chosen to represent India at the Oscars. It is always a special honour for me to represent India on a world platform and I would like to thank the Film Federation of India (FFI) for considering us worthy,' Aamir said in a press statement.
'Peepli Live' is former journalist Anusha Rizvi's debut film as director and does not boast of big stars.
'My congratulations to Anusha and the entire team,' added Aamir.
This is the third time that a film with which Aamir is associated has been chosen to contend for the best foreign film award at the Oscars by the FFI.
The first was Ashutosh Gowariker's 2001 film 'Lagaan', featuring Aamir in the lead, which was nominated among the best five in the best foreign film category. But it lost the honour to 'No Man's Land'.
In 2008, his production and debut directorial 'Taare Zameen Par' was chosen by the FFI as India's official entry for the Academy Award, but it failed to make it to the top five.
